As I develop this website and continuously improve it, my goal is to provide you with the knowledge and resources you need to save money on electric, natural gas, and water utilities. My name is Patrick Conners and I go by the pen name of the Energy Guy. I’m located in Texas, but you can depend on the same energy-saving principles to apply no matter where you live and work.

The Energy GuyAlong the journey called life I picked up the name “Energy Guy”. So when I decided to develop a website about energy, it made sense to use it as my pen name. I love this stuff. I’m a licensed professional engineer with 30 years experience in energy and maintenance of buildings. That includes lots of study, research and field experience. I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. My hope is that the practical information on this site will put more cash in your pocket, help make our world just a little more sustainable, and give you the practical knowledge and tools you need to save energy without sacrificing lifestyle and comfort.
